  • The Overview sections of each Editing standard has been redrafted and updated and now includes the job roles each standard is relevant to – please check that these are all correct.

  • The original SKSE3 Keep editing knowledge and skills up to date standard has been retired and replaced by SKSGS2 Make the most of opportunities to increase your skills and gain experience in the creative industries – please check both standards and confirm if you agree.

  • We are proposing to import a new standard SKSDP04 Advise on technical process in production – please check the standard and confirm if you agree.

  • The industry expert groups proposed that the editing function sits well within the Post production process in terms of workflow.
