You must be able to:
ensure that you work to the relevant schedule of activities
carry out the strike tasks in the correct sequence to ensure that the work is completed to strike deadlines
check that props match property lists, and obtain packing materials to meet strike deadlines
disassemble set dressings, arrange them so that they can be identified, labelled, recorded, and returned or stored appropriately
check all props against relevant documentation
assess whether damaged items can be repaired or replaced for the production
update records, and report all damaged items to relevant personnel
handle and pack items to ensure safe and secure onwards transportation
pack items to meet production continuity schedule
store items safely, hygienically, and appropriately, to maintain their condition and security, and to provide ease of access for future use
handle heavy or bulky items according to the relevant health and safety legislation, regulations, and protocols
complete documentation as required
ensure that items which are no longer required are returned, in a clean and appropriate condition, to the props storeman, or relevant hirer, supplier or location; or recycled or disposed of appropriately

types of set dressing and props, their characteristics and uses, and how they are typically disassembled, packed, and transported
procedures for checking and confirming the condition and identity of props and set dressings
procedures for dealing with lost or damaged items
how to identify which items will be needed in future including pack striking
how to handle, pack and move items safely including the use if mechanical aids
which props and materials can be recycled or disposed of, and the relevant recycling and disposal methods
the requirements of the relevant health and safety legislation, regulations, and protocols
the documentation requirements, and how to ensure that all props are returned in a clean and appropriate condition, to the props storeman, or relevant supplier, hirer or location
