You must be able to:
1. clarify and define objectives
2. identify and interpret relevant measurements
3. make and record any measurements of components, sub-assemblies, products, models, equipment, layouts or facilities needed for the preparation of the required drawings
4. calculate the required dimensions and other drafting details based on measurements
5. identify the type of drawing required and choose a suitable start point
6. use appropriate techniques to create the required drawing to organisational standards
7. add architectural features, doors and windows, with the correct dimensions and positioning
8. add units/fittings to your design in a variety of ways
9. add style, colour, lighting to enhance your design
10. save drawings in appropriate locations
11. produce hard copies of the finished drawings
12. annotate your plan and add dimensions
13. create a presentation to include plans, elevations and 3D images
14. identify any modifications that may be needed to the brief and to designs
