You must be able to do:
make an initial response to incidents and emergencies in line with organisational procedures
obtain all available information about incidents or emergencies that are occurring without delay
communicate with all those involved in incidents or emergencies in a way that is appropriate to the situation
take appropriate and prompt action in line with organisational procedures to prevent situations from escalating
report incidents and emergencies in a clear and accurate way to appropriate colleagues
hand over control to appropriate colleagues when required
carry out your own responsibilities in a safe, effective and efficient way in line with organisational security procedures
deal with bystanders with organisational procedures
maintain the rights of individuals involved in line with organisational security procedures
implement contingency plans in line with organisational security procedures
record and report information about incidents or emergencies that could be used for future action in line with organisational security procedures
ensure instructions and requests to others are in line with organisational procedures
