Overview

This standard is about deciding what speech content is needed to meet production requirements, and briefing others to obtain the content, either by originating it or by accessing existing material.

It covers constructing programme running orders or building a programme from this speech content.

It also requires an understanding of the interactive potential of speech content in radio and audio.

This standard applies to all those who produce speech content for radio and audio.
